Arbroath Abbey Weddings provide a unique venue to make your vows in a place thats at the very heart of Scotland’s story. Arbroath Abbey is a potent symbol of our nation – the Declaration of Arbroath was sent from here and the Stone of Destiny found by the high altar. Rising out of the ruins is the imposing, twin-towered west front, while the ‘Round O’ window – once lit up to guide sailors home – is a local landmark.
The objective of the task was to use aerial drone video and photography to capture the amazing location of Arbroath Abbey and also the wedding ceremony for the couple to remember the special once in a lifetime event. We also used some ground based cameras to capture some closeup shots of the marriage.
Rising View are licensed and insured commercial drone pilots from Dundee, Scotland and specialise in aerial drone video for weddings and other events. We currently work in Dundee, Perth, Glasgow, Edinburgh and surrounding areas but can also travel anywhere in the United Kingdom.

All of our jobs are carried out with safety in mind and we have strict rules and permissions in place from the Civil Aviation Authority. We are fully licensed and have public liability insurance. Before any job we carry out lots of pre-planning and then again we do risk assessments on site on the day of the job.
