This is a construction time-lapse video for Denfind Stone to showcase building a wall using materials sourced from Pitairlie Quarry located in Monikie, Angus.
Rising View have previously worked with Denfind Stone quarry to do a promotional video to show the what happens from the first step of the stone being taken from the quarry and the steps then taken to the final form for sale.
The aim of the video was to capture 30 days of construction and put it into a short promotional time-lapse video for use on social media such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. To be able to capture such a long term project we had to purchase specialist cameras suitable for the job and work out the best positioning for them. After the project was then completed we had to edit the video to skip days no work was done and other effects.
Brian Binnie, the Owner and Director of Denfind Stone was impressed by the results and has already commissioned a second video on another project in 2018.
Time-lapse video can really help to capture long term projects to show the change over time. Viewing a 30 day project in under minutes tells more of the story and is more powerful compared to traditional video at different stages of a project.
