The Championship[course is one of the venues in The Open Championship rotation and will host the 147th event in July 2018.
Golf has been played at Carnoustie since the 16th century and its earned a reputation as one of the toughest golf destinations in the world.
Strong winds are common on the exposed stretch of the Angus coast and the multiple bunkers are perfectly positioned to capture your ball unless you have a perfect shot on the very long and narrow course which at 7421 yards is the longest of any of the Open venues.
